3 Ways To Make Pigeon Pose BETTER
How To Make Traditional “Pigeon Pose” DEEPER and BETTER.
Often in Yoga classes “Pigeon Pose” is a pose that (in my opinion) could be better.
Normally you just place your leg in front of you bent at 90 degrees (or less if you are less flexible or are doing half-pigeon.
However, we think that there are several ways of making the stretch deeper and better if you take the time to wind up the joint and the tissue into flexion + external rotation using your hands.
This allows you to get access to stretching some of the deeper, gnarlier bits of your hips that you wouldn’t otherwise have access to.
Try these 3 variations and see what works best for you!
