Snatch Technique for Beginners (SLOW-MO)

Snatch technique for Beginner Crossfitters, Olympic Lifters, Athletes and Weightlifting Enthusiasts (analysis using Coaches Eye).

The Olympic lifts are one of the best ways of developing “speed-strength” (power) and in addition to speed and power, you are developing strength, mobility, rhythm, timing, coordiation, etc.

All around a magnificent skill for almost any athlete to learn!

The difficulty is that at full speed it can be hard for a beginner to understand all that is happening in the movement.

Check out this step-by-step instructional video of one of my training sessions with the snatch.

I slow down and speed up the lift at various points so that it is clear what is happening.

Apologies for the small picture (shot on my phone!)

Hope you enjoy!
